TEMPE, AZ (September 19, 2007) – LifeLock CEO Todd Davis announced today that the leader in Identity Theft Prevention will join Newsweek as co-sponsor of the SafetyNET program run by MENTOR, the leading national advocate and resource for mentoring.

Championed by MENTOR and created by Congress, SafetyNET provides mentoring organizations across the country access to nationwide FBI fingerprint searches. It is frequently a more thorough background search than what is otherwise available, ensuring a higher standard for mentor screening and a more effective means of protecting children. The generous support of LifeLock and Newsweek will help sustain SafetyNET and expand its visibility through national media exposure.

"We are extremely proud to be partnering with organizations like MENTOR and Newsweek,' said Davis. "Protecting children has always been a focus for our company and this opportunity allows us to support an important organization which fills a very important void in our society. LifeLock will be there to help MENTOR and SafetyNET in any way they need us."

"MENTOR's critical challenge is to match caring, responsible adults with the 15 million young people here in America who are still in need of mentors. Partnerships like these will help us make that happen. We appreciate and are grateful to LifeLock and Newsweek for their commitment and generosity," stated James E. Duffy, former President of ABC Television and founding MENTOR Board Member.
